Students will be assisted with topic selection to ensure it best reflects their musical proficiency.

Weekly classes will comprehensively look at the examination principles to ensure that on the day of the exam students are well prepared, positive and self assured.

As per the HSC guidance our classes are designed to cover the criteria required for HSC examination.

●     Demonstrates highly-developed technical skills incorporating technical fluency, technical facility, intonation and articulation appropriate to the chosen repertoire

●     Demonstrates perceptive stylistic understanding through performing repertoire using articulation, dynamics andexpressive techniques

●     Performs with a well-developed sense ofpersonal expression, demonstrated by the use of appropriate expressive techniques and a sensitivity to the chosen style

●     Demonstrates a highly-developed understanding of solo/ensemble techniques including understanding of the role of soloist/ensemble member, communication with accompanist/ensemble and issues of balance

HSC examiners are seeking well prepared students, displaying confidence and comprehensive technical, aural skills and performance preparations.

Students will be taught todemonstrate a sense of musical expression and style; accurate intonation;technical proficiency; stylistic articulation; an understanding of phrasing;dynamics and expressive techniques as well as effective communication with your ensemble members or accompanist.
